With operations which include raw rubber plantations, GMT is able to obtain the raw rubber at source. Formulation, mixing and testing of the rubber then takes place at GMT's dedicated rubber manufacturing facility. All rubber compounds are controlled using automated computer controlled systems and each and every batch of rubber is analysed and tested prior to being allocated to the production line for moulding and/or vulcanisation.
With more than 180 high-tech moulding machines including injection, transfer and compression types, GMT has the capacity to fulfil customers' rubber component production requirements.
GMT's dedicated rapid prototyping facility enables a quick turnaround of samples for testing/evaluation.
GMT designs and manufactures tooling in-house thereby controlling as much of the rubber manufacturing process as possible.
